What a cookie is
----------------

A cookie is a small piece of data a website stores on your device. It lets the site recognise your browser on your next request, for example to keep you signed in or to protect a form against forgery. Cookies set by the site you are visiting are first-party cookies; cookies set by other companies are third-party cookies and can be used to follow you across sites.

The cookies we set
------------------

Send NDA sets only essential first-party cookies. They are necessary to run the site, so there is no consent banner and they cannot be switched off while you use it.

- `send_n_d_a_session` holds your session, so the site remembers you between requests while you create, preview or sign an agreement and while you are signed in to your account.
- `XSRF-TOKEN` protects forms against cross-site request forgery.

No tracking cookies
-------------------

We do not use advertising, targeting or social media cookies. Our visitor statistics come from Plausible Analytics, which works without cookies and without storing personal identifiers. Fonts are served from our own server.

One third-party script runs on the site, and only on one page: when a sender completes an agreement, Trustpilot's invitation script loads on the signing page to invite them to leave a review. It keeps an invitation reference (`tpinvid`) in the browser's local storage, so the same agreement is not invited twice, and loads content from trustpilot.com. It sets no cookie of ours; what Trustpilot stores under its own domain is covered by Trustpilot's cookie policy.

Controlling cookies
-------------------

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block our essential cookies you will not be able to sign in or complete an agreement.

If we add cookies that are not essential, we will update this page and ask for your consent before setting them.
